Presidential Scholarships
These funding opportunities are specifically designed to encourage high-achieving students to select SUNY Canton. The awards are merit-based, rather than needs-based. They are designed to help recruit top talent, allowing the College to flourish and create successful alumni.
Canton Fund Scholarships
These scholarships are used to help close the gap of attendance for students who might be short on tuition or the other costs of pursuing a degree. These students want to achieve a degree, but need extra support to make that dream a reality.
Housing Scholarships
With recent changes to financial aid awards, these scholarships are becoming increasingly critical for our students from outside the North Country area who select SUNY Canton. For many students, living on campus is their only option, and they often struggle to meet this need.
Campus Enhancement Awards
Each year, the Canton College Foundation is able to provide competitive grants that are open to students, faculty and staff who want to complete projects that will improve life for everyone on campus. These awards have ranged from equipment for classrooms and lab space to programming on campus.
Faculty/Staff Awards
To stay current in their fields, our faculty and staff attend professional development workshops and conferences throughout the year. To defray these costs and make some of the best professional development attainable, the Foundation is able to provide funding to close the gaps.
