Karen R. Studer ’10, MBA, MPH, FACPM, chair of the department of preventive medicine, was appointed by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) to serve on its national Review Committee for Preventive Medicine. She also serves as a director on the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM).

“This is a pivotal moment for preventive medicine,” Studer said. “I’m honored to serve on the ACGME Review Committee and to help shape the next generation of physicians who will lead the charge in addressing chronic disease, health equity, and public health preparedness.”
