“Dick Johnson Is Dead,” starring Richard Johnson ’58, was featured at the 2025 Full Frame Film Festival in North Carolina and many festivals since it premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, where it won a Special Jury Award. Directed by his daughter, Kirsten Johnson, the film explores her father’s decline with dementia by imagining his many possible deaths.
