ALUMNI NEWS: New DIO at Healthy Rural California

DANNIELLE HARWOOD ’97 is the new Designated Institutional Offical (DIO) at Healthy Rural California. In her role she provides “academic oversight for all specialty residency programs, leading the Graduate Medical Education Committee,” the spring 2025 issue of “Advancing Health in Northern California” stated. Harwood is known for her creative problem solving, innovation, and resourcefulness in the medical field. She cares deeply about education, previously working at the University of Colorado family medicine residency program, and she gives back to the community, serving on the Butte County Medical Society Board and volunteering with the California CareForce Clinic.
