Paying It Forward Scholarship Enters Seventh Year
The 2026–2027 academic year marks another exciting chapter for the Paying It Forward Scholarship as both returning and new students join the program. Now entering its seventh year, the scholarship continues to make a lasting impact on medical students by helping reduce the financial burden of their education while fostering a spirit of generosity and mentorship.
With support from alumni donors, matched by the School of Medicine and the Alumni Association, the scholarship provides meaningful tuition assistance to selected third- and fourth-year students. What began as a vision to invest in future physicians has grown into a powerful legacy of alumni supporting those who follow in their footsteps.
Beyond the tuition support provided through the scholarship, the program creates opportunities for alumni and students to build meaningful relationships through mentorship, encouragement, and shared experiences in medicine. These connections provide students with guidance and support throughout their training while strengthening the bond between generations of alumni. The Alumni Association is proud to introduce the recipients of the 2026–2027 Paying It Forward Scholarship.
