Orientation: Proceed With Caution (And Coffee)

This piece captures the moment just before medical school gets real, the first day of clinical rotations. I drew it from my point of view surrounded by classmates still riding the wave of hope, nerves, and caffeine.

 

Rozalyn Morauske ’25 is now a preliminary surgery intern at UC Davis Health and an active duty Air Force officer based at Travis AFB. Art served as both a stress outlet and study tool during medical school.
