Following a medical Spanish elective at Universidad Adventista del Plata in Argentina, I painted this watercolor piece on a trip to El Chaltén, from a sunrise on the Fitz Roy skyline.

Emily Nagele ’26 spent much of her spare time in medical school on hiking trails and painting, and hopes to continue throughout her emergency medicine residency in Fresno, California.
