Founded in 1979 by artist and lifelong surfer Leighton Lam ’74, Leighton Lam Designs began as a personal exploration of resin, color, and form, shaped by a deep connection to the ocean and the Hawai‘i lifestyle. Today, Leighton works alongside his daughter, Kaily Lam ’02 Smitson, continuing the studio’s work in Honolulu.

Makena Hunt ’05 Rockstroh co-owns Engroove Shop with her wife, Vanessa, who is the founder of the company. Over the past four years, they have successfully expanded their engraved Watchband Collection business, now carried in over 30 retail locations across Hawai‘i. Their aspirations include national expansion in the near future.

Beer Lab HI was founded in 2015 and opened a tasting room in Honolulu, Hawai‘i in 2016. Beer Lab HI’s unique brews have varying malt bills, hop profiles and specialty ingredients and are served at establishments across O‘ahu, as well as Beer Lab HI’s brew pub at Pearlridge Center and flagship brewery on Beretania Street. A third location at Puck’s Alley in Mō‘ili‘ili will open in August 2024.
Bellamann Services Inc., a three-generation, family-owned business specializing in quality retail and wholesale t-shirts and apparel, was founded in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, in 1962. Now run by the third generation, Brayden Hee ’19 and Erin Hee ’23, the business upholds decades of craftsmanship and customer service. As everything is custom-made, exchanges are not offered.
