Seeking year group representatives, could it be you? Council representatives make a meaningful contribution to the Ratcliffian community’s legacy. In this voluntary position, we strongly welcome your recommendations, ideas, and guidance.
What is in it for you:
- Meet different generations of Old Ratcliffians who have walked the same corridors as you.
- Visit Ratcliffe and hear updates from the headmaster of recent developments.
- Share new ways and ideas on how to enrich the Old Ratcliffian community and engagement with current Ratcliffe students.
- Overwhelmingly informal – our 3 meetings a year follow a brief format and there is always time to socialise and enjoy a chat with fellow council members before and after over a coffee and treats.
- Continue to be part of the Ratcliffe College culture.
- Once you have gained more understanding on how things work, it is hoped you will take on the role of vice President then President, to steer the ship – especially if it lines up with a particular leaving year anniversary.
What we need from you:
- It starts from being an ambassador and point of contact for your year group and years above and below.
- Encouraging them to engage with the Association and attend events.
- Getting from your peers what is or is not working with the Association, what would they like to see?
- Bring these ideas, feelings, thoughts, guidance, advice, to our Council Meetings.
- To sit on the Council of which there are 3 sessions a year lasting 60 mins.
- These are hosted both online and in person at Ratcliffe.
- To attend events where able especially if it one that you have suggested.
