After forty two years, Sebastian Stones ‘82 seized the chance to revisit his old college when he learned that the school he worked for was participating in a cricket event at Ratcliffe College. On June 12th, Seb stepped into RC for the first time since he graduated in 1982. As he walked through the familiar grounds, memories of his time at Ratcliffe flooded back. He recalled arriving as a Year 10 student in the winter of 1978 and the tumultuous summer of 1979 when a fire destroyed the dorm he lived in. The affected students were temporarily housed in a classroom until the wing was rebuilt.

After leaving RC, Seb pursued a degree in Geography at university and is now the Deputy Headmaster (Pastoral) at Arnold House Private School.
