The Fleet Library at RISD Alumni Collection

The Fleet Library at RISD Alumni Collection highlights and celebrates RISD’s creative publishing community. The collection contains hundreds of titles, including books and other materials. Each item has a special bookplate to identify it as part of the collection. The bookplates recognize the alumni and their contributions to the published work. The collection spans a wide range of subjects, including art and design, fiction, children’s literature, food, memoirs, social justice and more.

The Collection has a dedicated space in the Library’s Main Reading Room, with many of its volumes available to circulate to the RISD community.

Little stranger / Edie Fake.

Edie Fake 02 FAV

What’s silly, scary and sexy? Edie Fake’s comics forged an entire aesthetic of art and queer culture. Since his Ignatz Award winning Gaylord Phoenix, Fake’s comics have only appeared in underground anthologies and zines. At last, these rare comics can all be found under the covers of a Little Stranger. You’ll never look at a turkey the same way again.

Liz Collins 91 TX/MFA 99

Edited by Kate Irvin with contributions by former faculty members Glenn Adamson and Julia Bryan-Wilson, as well as Octavia Bürgel, Zoe Latta 10 TX, and Eileen Myles.

Neither / Airlie Anderson.

Airlie Anderson 00 IL
