Today, 40 flautists from Gr. 8-11 had the opportunity to audit a flute clinic with Dr. Laurel Swinden, department head of flute performance at Wilfred Laurier University. Dr. Swinden worked with Jeffery Zhang, Gr. 12, and alumnus Christian Fischer `24 on performance techniques such as breathing, articulation, intonation, and phrasing.
